Ayşegül Savaş is a Turkish author of the novels Walking on the Ceiling, White on White, and The Anthropologists, which was longlisted for the National Book Critics Circle Award. It was named one of TIME magazine's top ten books of 2024, New York Magazine's Best Books of the Year, and one of Barack Obama's favorite books of the year, among others. Savaş has also written the nonfiction work The Wilderness and the short story collection Long Distance, published this July. Her work has been translated into a dozen languages. Originally from Istanbul, she lives in Paris.

Faisal Tehrani is a Malaysian essayist, playwright, and novelist, currently regarded as a controversial figure by the Malaysian authorities for experimenting with diverse forms and introducing alternative discourses in his works. Among his recent publications is the satire Koro, released in Indonesia and translated into English as The Koro Riots in 2022, published by Penguin SEA. In 2022, Faisal wrote the screenplay for the film Maryam Pagi ke Malam with director Badrul Hisham Ismail, which premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival in 2023 to favourable reviews.

Jenny Erpenbeck is an acclaimed German author and the winner of the 2024 International Booker Prize for her novel, Kairos. Born in East Berlin, Erpenbeck is the author of works of fiction including Wörterbuch, published in English as The Book of Words; Geschichte vom alten Kind, published in English as The Old Child; Heimsuchung, published in English as Visitation; and the nonfiction collection Kein Roman, published in English as Not a Novel. She also won the Hans Fallada Prize and the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize for her 2012 novel Aller Tage Abend, published in English as The End of Days. Her novel Gehen, ging, gegangen, published in English as Go, Went, Gone, was shortlisted for the Deutscher Buchpreis in 2017. Jenny was awarded the Thomas Mann Prize in 2016, and she was a finalist for the 2024 Neustadt Prize.
