Claire Kilroy

Claire Kilroy is an Irish writer and author of the novels All Summer, Tenderwire, All Names Have Been Changed, and The Devil I Know. Her fifth novel, Soldier Sailor, was published by Faber in May 2023. Kilroy has been shortlisted for the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year three times and won the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature in 2004. She was also an inaugural recipient of the Markievicz Award in 2019 and was shortlisted for the 2024 Women’s Fiction Prize. Her works have been named Best Book by the The Sunday Times, Irish Times, The Guardian, Financial Times, The Telegraph, New Statesman, The Economist, The Independent, and others.
