Roichatul Aswidah

Roichatul Aswidah is the Senior Researcher at the Institute for Policy Research and Advocacy (ELSAM) and was one of the 11 members of the Indonesian National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) from 2012 to 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Rights Theory and Practice from the University of Essex, UK. In 2009, Roichatul Aswidah was actively involved with the Democracy and Human Rights Studies Institute (DEMOS) and the Institute for Studies and Advocacy (ELSAM).

Roichatul Aswidah adalah Peneliti Senior di Lembaga Studi dan Advokasi Masyarakat (ELSAM) dan pernah menjadi salah satu dari 11 anggota Komisi Nasional Hak Asasi Manusia (Komnas HAM) Indonesia dari tahun 2012 hingga 2017. Ia meraih gelar Sarjana Ilmu Komunikasi dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) dan gelar Master of Arts (M.A.) dalam Teori dan Praktik Hak Asasi Manusia dari University of Essex, Inggris. Pada tahun 2009, Roichatul Aswidah mulai aktif terlibat dengan Lembaga Studi Demokrasi dan Hak Asasi (DEMOS) dan Lembaga Studi dan Advokasi Masyarakat (ELSAM).
