How do I purchase a Day Festival Pass?

All Festival Passes are available through our official ticketing platform. Please note that payment gateway fees may apply at checkout. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via email or via WhatsApp.

During Festival week, from Monday, 19 October to Sunday, 25 October 2026, Festival Passes can also be purchased in person at the Festival Box Office, located on Jalan Raya Sanggingan in Ubud (view on Google Maps).

I haven’t received my ticket confirmation email, what should I do?

Your purchased Festival Pass will be sent immediately to the email address you used when booking. The confirmation email contains a QR code, which our ticketing team will scan when you arrive, and your Festival Pass (lanyard) will be issued at our ticketing office during Festival week, from Monday, 19 October to Sunday, 25 October 2026.

If you cannot find the email in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder in case it has been filtered there.

If you still cannot locate it, please contact our team via email or via WhatsApp. You can also get in touch through our online form by clicking the button below:

How can I collect my Festival Pass?

As a Festival Pass holder, you can collect your Festival Pass (lanyard) at the Festival Box Office. The lanyard can be collected onsite at the Festival Box Office, located on Jalan Raya Sanggingan in Ubud, Bali (view on Google Maps).

Please remember to bring identification and proof of purchase when collecting your Festival Pass (see also ‘Concessions’).

For all Special Events, Masterclasses, Cultural Workshops, and other ticketed events taking place outside of Taman Baca, the Festival Hub, your printed or digital ticket confirmation will be sufficient. You do not need to collect additional tickets from the Festival Box Office for these events.

What exchange rates do we use?

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of storytelling and inspiring conversation at our Festival. That’s why we offer reduced ticket prices!

Check the list of discounted tickets we offer here.

Do you offer free tickets for the Festival?

As an Indonesian high school student, you get free entry to our 2026 Festival! To get your ticket, visit our ticketing platform, choose the ticket category, and complete the checkout process.

We also have plenty of free events lined up this year, from dozens of Book Launches and Festival Club sessions with fiery poets, to a wide range of art exhibitions and night programmes.

Can I bring my children to the Festival?

We love welcoming younger audiences. Children under twelve must be accompanied by a responsible adult, while those aged 12 and over require their own Festival Pass.

Can children attend any special ticketed events?

For any Special Events, Masterclasses, Cultural Workshops, or other ticketed events, we recommend leaving your children with a trusted caregiver so you can fully enjoy the experience.
