Eva Fernandes

Eva Fernandes is a writer, poet, playwright, and spoken-word artist. Her work explores transnational identity, belonging, feminism, grief, and ultimately love. Eva is the author of the book DeColonize Your Eyes. Currently, she is working on a grief memoir. Previously, she trained and worked as a journalist in the Middle East, where she published for Yahoo, The New York Times T Magazine, Kippreport, and Gulf News among other publications. Currently, Eva is the Founder of XBEVA, a pro-justice storytelling company that helps BIPOC changemakers write their own memoirs.
