In The Middle of Everything, Lala Bohang’s latest book and solo exhibition, showcases over 20 artworks across various mediums at Purga Artspace. This marks Lala’s debut exhibition in Bali and at Purga Artspace. The artworks visually explore themes from her eighth book of the same title, delving into dualism and spectrums in life, including women’s roles in society and family, self-evolution, the realities of relationships, cultural crossroads, and life’s uncertainties. Previously held at dia.lo.gue in Jakarta, this exhibition now comes to Ubud, where Lala once again transforms the space into a colorful canvas—a joyful stopover on life’s journeys.

In the Middle of Everything, buku dan pameran tunggal terbaru Lala Bohang, menampilkan sekitar 20 karya seni lintas medium di Purga Artspace. Karya-karya seni ini adalah penjelajahan visual atas tema-tema dari buku kedelapannya dengan judul yang sama, menyelami berbagai dualisme dan spektrum dalam kehidupan, termasuk peran perempuan di masyarakat dan keluarga, evolusi diri, kenyataan terkait hubungan, persimpangan budaya, dan ketidakpastian hidup. Sebelumnya diselenggarakan di dia.lo.gue Jakarta, pameran ini kini datang ke Ubud, tempat Lala sekali lagi mentransformasikan ruang menjadi sebuah kanvas berwarna – sebuah persinggahan menggembirakan dalam hidup.

Pembukaan Pameran dihadiri seniman Lala Bohang juga Pendiri dan Direktur Festival Janet DeNeefe pada Kamis, 19 Oktober, dari pukul 18:00 sampai 20:00.
