Daan Roosegaarde

Daan Roosegaarde is a Dutch artist and creative thinker celebrated for projects that explore the relationship between people, technology, and nature. Inspired from an early age by glowing fireflies and jellyfish, his work includes SMOG FREE PROJECT, VAN GOGH PATH, and URBAN SUN. Founder of Studio Roosegaarde, he has exhibited at the Tate Modern, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and Design Museum London, received numerous prestigious awards, and lectures globally, including at TED. A Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum and professor at Tongji University, his most recent project is the world’s first FIREFLY GARDEN in Bali.
