The Ubud Writers & Readers Festival (UWRF) is thrilled to announce that the awaited call for the 2024 Festival Media Accreditation is now open. Scheduled to take place from 23-27 October 2024, the Festival will once again bring together acclaimed writers, thought leaders, and passionate readers from around the globe.
If you are a media professional planning to cover the Festival and its array of exciting programs, we warmly invite you to submit your application. As an accredited media, you will enjoy a number of exclusive benefits, including:
A media pass that grants unlimited access to all the main programs throughout the 4-day Festival, including author in-conversations, panel discussions, film screenings, and live performances at the main venues*.
An invitation to the Festival’s press conferences in Jakarta, Denpasar, and Ubud, and the exclusive Gala Opening in Ubud.
Access to interviews with speakers and/or Festival representatives.
Access to a dedicated Media Center to assist you with any inquiries, reports, and information support.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore the cultural richness and vibrant literary scene of Ubud, while engaging with a global community of storytellers!
Applications are open until 31 August 2024. Upon filling in the application form, you will be asked to provide your:
Credentials, including your profile and the details of your company/organization*.
Coverage plan, including your angles/stories plan*.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Please note that the media pass does not grant access to other ticketed programs such as special events and masterclasses. Tickets to these programs can be purchased separately.
The Festival reserves the right to deny requests if the conditions are not met. If your request is accepted, you will receive a notification and our accredited media guide by 13 September 2024 so you can plan your trip in advance.
