This internship involves assisting the Festival Marketing & Communications team in driving communication and marketing activities to build awareness and excitement for the 2024 Festival taking place between 23-27 October.
TASKS INCLUDE:
- Creating creative concepts for activities on our social media to drive engagement and traffic within the festival campaign
- Assisting in writing festival copy such as programs, press releases, and announcements in English and translating them into Indonesian
- Supporting in collaborating with community partners such as book clubs and literacy groups to enhance engagement within their networks.
- Managing the festivals’ editorial calendars to ensure timely, relevant, and engaging contentMonitoring and moderating our Festivals’ social media channels
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and X
- Proficiency in Indonesian and preference for candidates proficient in English
- Ability to work under pressure and with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and anticipate next steps or needs
- Effective in working both independently and as part of a team
BEFORE YOU APPLY:
- Interns can work remotely, in-person, or a combination of both.
- It is important that interns are available during the Festival weekends between 23-27 October 2024, and ideally for two weeks beforehand.
- Interested candidates with at least three months availability can apply.
- The application process is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
