Casa Luna Festival Club

The relationship between environment and narrative runs deep, with the sights, sounds, and textures of a place often inspiring sincere storytelling. Whether set in bustling cities or serene rural landscapes, writers are challenged to capture the essence of a location, turning it into a living, breathing character by revealing its stories, histories, and emotional nuances. How do writers paint vivid landscapes with their words and transform the ordinary into the extraordinary through turning place into character?

Our authors for this panel are David Whish Wilson, Miranda Seftiana, and Sabin Naqil. Moderated by journalist and author David Sly.
